瓊.海格 Joan Haig
出生於非洲尚比亞,從小就喜愛酪梨與故事。十二歲時,與家人遷居到西南太平洋快樂的萬那杜群島。她曾在世界各地居住、工作和旅行,最近更與她的丈夫、孩子和貓定居在蘇格蘭邊界的一間小木屋。她目前在愛丁堡阿卡迪亞大學的全球研究學院工作。
她的寫作夢想是,故事能受到蘇格蘭及其他地方兒童的喜愛,且能打動一些成年人的心。《虎皮魔毯》是她的第一本小說,出版後便獲得2021年英國卡內基文學獎提名。
