FBI agents Mulder and Scully are investigating a series of very unusual murders: all the victims' livers have been removed without the help of tools and there is no apparent point of entry. The only traces left by the murderer are inhumanly long fingerprints. Scully and Mulder begin to get nearer the truth when they discover that these murders have been recurring every 39 years since 1903. However what they don't know is that the killer has already found its next victim...
