The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is the story of Huck, a wild boy, and his adult friend Jim, a runaway slave. In order to search for freedom, they flee on a raft down the Mississippi River. Their journey is exciting and full of adventures. In the end, Huck is free after the death of his father, a drunkard, and Jim is also freed by his master.

Mark Twain (Samuel Langhorne Clemens, 1835 - 1910) is one of the most popular American writers of the 19th century. He had to leave school at the age of 13 to work as a printer.
