Othello, the military general of Venice who was treated as an outsider of the force, married Desdemona, a woman who was also loved by Iago whose military rank was inferior to Othello. Feeling blue and begrudged, Iago plots a conspiracy against Othello in reclaiming his loss, transmogrifying the situation and rendering the hostility irreversible.
