The third book in the 'Clancy of the Outback' series. The series follows the adventures of eleven-year-old Clancy when he moves from the city to the Australian outback. When the schoolbus runs over a kangaroo with a joey in her pouch, the kids get involved in looking after the joey, and later oppose a kangaroo cull in the town.
