There are about 500 species of carnivorous plants in the world. However, most feed on small insects. It is believed that a carnivorous man-eating tree existed in Madagascar, Africa. Yet until today, there is no scientific evidence or official report about it. So most scientists are of the opinion that man-eating trees do not really exist.
