Whole numbers are the same as counting numbers such as -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3… 10. A whole number that is bigger than 0 is called a positive integer. Numbers such as 1, 2 and 3 are positive integers. A whole number that is smaller than 0 is called a negative integer. Negative integers are such as -1, -2 and -3.
