The 15-numbered puzzle is a sliding puzzle consisting of a frame with square numbered-tiles arranged in random with one tile missing.To solve the puzzle, the numbered-tiles must be rearranged in a proper order from 1 to 15. The 15-numbered puzzle was invented by Noyes Chapman in 1874.
