The stingray has an interesting shape. The body is flat with a tail that is long and thin unlike any other fish but it is nevertheless still a fish. Stingrays are found in the deep waters of tropical and subtropical oceans. Some species can also be found in shallow waters near beaches. There are also freshwater and saltwater species.
