First published in 1864, “Journey to the Centre of the Earth” have been adpoted into a movie in 2008. If you have not watched the movie yet, you might not want to miss this exciting novel. It is believed that there are tubes connecting the surface and the centre of the earth. Despite the dangers that they will contend in the volcano, such as cave-ins, underground ocean, living prehistoric creatures, a German scientist decides to explore this inactive volcano with his nephew Axel and an Icelandic guide Hans. Can they find their way back to the surface?
